How a storage unit cleanout works
1. Text photos
Send a photo of the open unit to (443) 442-4646 and tell us the facility, unit size and whether it is drive-up or inside on an upper floor.
2. Get a clear price
We quote from the photos, usually within the hour, before anyone drives out. Tell us anything you want pulled out and kept.
3. We empty it and sweep
We meet you or the facility at the unit, load everything onto our truck, haul it away and leave the unit swept so it is ready to hand back. We can send photos when we finish.
Keep, donate or haul
- Tell us what to set aside, like papers, photos, tools or a few pieces of furniture, and we load those separately or drop them at your home
- Usable furniture and household goods can be donated where possible instead of thrown away
- Everything else is hauled away and disposed of properly
- Moving some of it into your house, basement or garage? We can do that on the same trip
For storage facility managers
Abandoned and delinquent units are part of running a facility. Once your lien process or auction is done, we clear the unit, haul everything away and sweep it so it can go back on the market fast. We can work around office hours and gate codes, handle several units in one visit, and send before-and-after photos for your records. A certificate of insurance and W-9 are available for your vendor file.
Good to know
- You will need to give us gate access: meet us at the facility, add us to your account, or ask the office to let us in
- Check the facility's move-out rules and hours so we can book a time that works
- Facilities usually require the unit to be empty and broom-clean to close it out, and we leave it that way
- Tell us if the unit is on an upper floor, inside a building or far from the loading area so the quote is accurate
- We do not take paint, fuel, propane tanks or chemicals. Pull those out or ask us about them first
- Clearing out a house or apartment too? See house cleanouts or apartment cleanouts

Common questions
How much does a storage unit cleanout cost in Baltimore?
It depends on the size of the unit, how full it is, what is in it and how far it is from where the truck can park. Text a photo of the open unit and you get a clear price before we drive out.
Do I need to be there for the cleanout?
Not always. If the facility can add us to your account or let us in, we can do the job without you and send photos when the unit is empty.
Can you bring some of my things to my house?
Yes. Tell us what you want to keep and we can drop those items at your home on the same trip and haul the rest away.
Will the unit be clean enough to close out my rental?
Yes. We empty the unit completely and sweep it out, which is what most facilities ask for at move-out.
Do you clear abandoned units for storage facilities?
Yes. After the facility has finished its lien process or auction, we clear the unit, haul everything away and leave it ready to rent. We can handle several units in one visit and send a COI and W-9.
How fast can you empty a storage unit?
Most single units are done in one visit, often within a few hours. Same-day or next-day is sometimes possible when the schedule allows.
Which areas do you serve?
Baltimore City, Baltimore County and Anne Arundel County, MD.
