Snow & Ice Removal in Baltimore

When snow or ice hits, our crew shovels and salts sidewalks, front steps, walkways, driveways and parking pads so tenants, customers and family can get in and out safely. Get on the list before the first storm and you are covered all season.

Photo/video quote, usually within an hour · Same-day when the schedule allows · Fully insured, COI on request

What we clear

  • Public sidewalks in front of and beside the property
  • Front and back steps, stoops and porches
  • Walkways to entrances, trash areas and laundry rooms
  • Driveways and parking pads
  • Building entrances and common-area access for rental properties
  • Salt or ice melt on steps and walkways after clearing

Who calls us

  • Landlords and property managers with rental rowhomes and small apartment buildings (see turnover & common-area cleanings)
  • Owners of vacant units who still have to keep the sidewalk clear
  • Older homeowners and anyone who should not be shoveling
  • Small businesses and storefronts that need the entrance open by opening time
  • Out-of-town owners who need someone local when a storm comes

Staying ahead of the city rules

Baltimore City expects owners and occupants to clear the sidewalk soon after the snow stops, with a path at least 2 feet wide, and by 11 AM if it stops overnight. Fines apply, and vacant houses and empty lots are not exempt. See the city's Be Shovel-Ready page for the current rules. If you are on our storm list, we plan our route so your properties are done in time.

How it works

  1. 1. Get on the list

Call or text (443) 442-4646 with your addresses and what needs clearing. Photos of the sidewalk, steps and parking area help.

  2. 2. Get a clear price

We price per visit for each property, so you know the cost before the season starts.

  3. 3. We show up after the storm

When snow or ice comes, we clear and salt in route order and send you a photo when each property is done.

Good to know

  • We do shovel-and-salt work for sidewalks, steps, walkways, driveways and parking pads. We do not plow large commercial parking lots.
  • Storm-day calls are taken in the order they come in, so customers on the list come first
  • After the thaw we can haul away storm debris, broken limbs and yard waste (see yard waste removal)
  • Fully insured, COI available on request for landlords and property managers

Common questions

How much does snow removal cost in Baltimore?

It depends on the length of sidewalk, the number of steps and whether there is a driveway or parking pad. Text photos of the property and we give you a clear per-visit price.

Can I sign up for the whole winter?

Yes. Get on our storm list before the season and we come out after each snow or ice event without you having to call.

How fast do you come after a storm?

Customers on the storm list are done first, in route order, starting as soon as it is safe to drive. We aim to have city sidewalks clear in time for the city deadline.

Do you salt or use ice melt?

Yes. We salt steps, walkways and sidewalks after clearing, and can come back for ice if it refreezes.

Do you plow parking lots?

No. We shovel and salt sidewalks, steps, walkways, driveways and parking pads. We do not plow large commercial lots.

Can you handle several rental properties?

Yes. Many of our customers are landlords and property managers with multiple rowhomes or small buildings. We send a photo when each one is done.

Which areas do you serve?

Baltimore City, Baltimore County and Anne Arundel County, MD.
